At Clemson University, the Association for Women in Sports Media (AWSM) is dedicated to empowering and supporting women who are interested in sports media, including, but not limited to, reporting, editing, broadcasting, social media, and media relations. The Clemson chapter is part of the nationally recognized AWSM network of schools across the country, working together to support and advance women in sports media. We are committed to fostering a supportive campus community that provides mentorship, professional development, and networking opportunities to hear from women in various sports-related roles. We aim to prepare Clemson students for success in future roles in sports media, equipping them with the skills, connections, and confidence to thrive in the industry.
